My first post

Hello everyone! This is Simon’s Dad checking in, basically to see how this blogging thing works. I’ll grant you that the graphics on this thing aren’t the best, but no one ever said I was a technophile. I’m just Simon’s Dad. The goal of this enterprise is to allow all those people who may be interested, to the farthest reaches of the world, to follow the story of Simon’s life, from conception (or at least, 7 months post-conception) until someone in our (holy) family decides to pull the plug. Posting may be sporatic. But stick around. Check in from time to time. See what Simon has been up to. Heck, he may even check in from time to time himself. Who can know???
